unreleased songs
I have versions of almost all of these on live bootlegs of Anvil concerts. The only ones I do not have any recordings for are:
"Backwaxed" was later recorded on BACKWAXED. The lyrics were changed slightly. "Computer Drone" and "The Creep" may appear on the next album. "Concrete Jungle" is an instrumental. It was later recorded on STRENGTH OF STEEL with lyrics. "Five Knuckle Shuffle" and "Racial Hostility" were later recorded on PLUGGED IN PERMANENT. The lyrics were changed slightly. I have a studio demos of these early versions. See the unreleased demos (1993/1995) pages for details. "Mister Green" was later recored on PLUGGED IN PERMANENT as "Smokin' Green". "Never Deceive Me" was later recorded on FORGED IN FIRE. The lyrics were changed slightly. "Senile King" was later recorded on POUND FOR POUND. The lyrics changed quite a bit. "Skull Mania Cranium" was later recorded on STRENGTH OF STEEL as "Flight Of The Bumble Beast". The music was changed somewhat as well. "Stolen" was later recorded on the Japanese release of PLUGGED IN PERMANENT. The lyrics were changed a little. I have a studio demo of this early version. See the unreleased demos (1995) page for details. "Straight Between The Eyes" was later recorded on STRENGTH OF STEEL. An extra verse was added to the lyrics. I have a studio demo of this early version. See the unreleased demos (1985) page for details. "Truth Or Consequence" is an instrumental. It was later recorded on PLUGGED IN PERMANENT with lyrics. I have a studio demo of this early version. See the unreleased demos (1995) page for details. "We Wanna Rock With You Tonight" was later recorded on STRENGTH OF STEEL as "Cut Loose". The lyrics were changed. "You'll Never Put That Collar On Me" was later recorded on FORGED IN FIRE as "Make It Up To You". The lyrics were changed. Dave Allison performs lead vocals on "Dream Of It Tonight", "Good Love Gone Bad" and "Worlds Apart". Lips and Dave Allison share lead vocal duties on "Straight Between The Eyes".
